The Componibili storage system from Kartell first hit the market in 1969 and has remained in production ever since. It’s an elegant and practical way of breaking up the angular monotony of any room and a highly modular unit with different compartment sizes which can be stacked as needed.
Italian designer and architect Anna Castelli Ferrieri has created a storage system which looks just as home in the office as it does in the nursery. An icon of the 60s, it is still one of Kartell’s best sellers close to 50 years after its release.
The Componbili has appeared at both MoMa NY and the George Pompidou Centre in Paris. Today manufacturer Kartell have released this classic in a variety of colours including chrome and gold finishes.
