Designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby met at the English Royal College of Arts in 1992. Their first piece to receive critical acclaim was the loop table. Its success would inspire a number of matching furniture pieces including a desk and the loop shelves.
Designed in 1996 while they were students, the shelves were created to hold your prized Compact Disc collection… which was an important way to show off your excellent taste back in the 90s.
Today your shelf may not hold the Prodigy, Spicegirls and the rest of your forgotten 1996 music collection, but we’re certain you will have many more timeless delights to showcase.
Made of a moulded plywood with an oak veneer, the shelves are available through Isokonplus.
