There are some people who touch every aspect of pop-culture and sadly, one of them is no longer with us… but their legacy lives on through their music and in the way they inspired others.
English artist, Becky Kemp was certainly inspired when she created Ziggy, based on David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust. Influenced by japanese wooden kokeshi dolls (which are traditionally exchanged as tokens of friendship), these dolls are all lovingly handpainted on a beechwood body.
Becky founded her company Sketch.inc in #2011, and her dolls are available worldwide through Lucie Kaas.
