by Charles and Ray Eames
The classic Eames Hang it all was introduced in 1953 as part of Charles’ and Ray‘s kids range. First crafted with multicoloured ball hooks and a white wire frame, the finishes have been expanded to add sophistication and accommodate a range of interiors beyond the nursery.
To create the rack’s framework, which attaches to your wall or door, the same mass-production technique were applied for welding wires that had been developed for some of the Eames’ wire base furniture designs.
As the name would imply, you can hang almost anything off this… Although hanging towels so that they dry is a practiced skill. The original bright colours and alternative styles are available through both Vitra and Herman Miller.
