George Nelson developed Swaged-leg metal furniture technique that were graceful and strong with beautiful curves. His Swag leg desk was created in 1958.
Nelson used the metalwork ‘Swaging’ technique to bend metal into graceful legs that he applied across a range of furniture, which includes a desk, worktable, dining table and chairs. Th e Swag legs allowed the furniture to be easily created, assembled, and transported which saved on cost.
These beautiful desks have been re-introduced by Herman Miller and are the perfect size for a home office and laptop. The coloured dividers contrast with the walnut and laminate to bring you a desk that’s so fun that work will (hopefully) be over before you know it!
