Hans Bølling (b.1931)
Hans Bølling is best known for the playfulness and humour in his timeless wooden toy designs for Architectmade.
From the small town of Braband in Denmark, Bølling attended an Art-and Handcraft School originally to become an advertising designer. Several years later, his passion for architecture would bring him back for a second degree in architecture and he graduated as an architect from the Royal Danish Art Academy. He has had prolific output during the course of his career with works ranging from dolls and furniture to villas, living complexes and town halls. Amongst his most popular works are the Duck & Ducklings, Oscar the dog and the Mermaid.
Today Hans Bølling is still active and his work is ever popular, not just in Scandinavia but worldwide.
