Kay Bojesen is known for creating timeless designs, and some of the most popular are his wooden toys. While Bojesen trained as a silversmith under Georg Jensen, when he became a father, he decided to focus on creating durable wooden toys for his son and other children.
He set up his workshop in 1932 to focus on creating and selling his designs, and the Wooden Horse was one of the first toys available.
