In 2014 designer Piet Hein Eek collaborated with LEFF Amsterdam to create a series of designs that mirrored the dutch design tradition – objects that are simple in form, yet clever and practical in execution.
The Tube Clock is created with extrusion techniques, where metal is forced through a mould to create the solid body and number ridges on the face of the clock.
As the clock is only 2 inches wide, it can be used as an ornament on your desk, or mounted into a wooden block or wall. It can be used in conjunction with the Audio Tube, a speaker which was created as part of the same series. Available through LEFFAmsterdam.
