This adorable wooden bear is part of a bear family, designed by danish woodcarver Skjøde Knudsen, most likely in the late 1950’s or 1960s (when his other wooden animals were created). Made of american walnut, the father bear sits at 23.5cm tall. This adorable bear and his family may be a little hard to find online at first, but if you go on a bear hunt, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. This beautiful bamse (bear in Danish) is available in 2016.
