For a lot of people Easter is associated with eating eggs and fish. It seems that this Goldfish eggcup from Alessi may have been made for the occasion.
The Gold Fish Egg Cup’s true origins lie with the National Museum of Taiwan. They commissioned Alessi to develop a range that would encourage greater awareness of Chinese culture and art in the west.
Designers Stefano Giovannoni and Rumiko Takeda created the Goldfish eggcup as part of a range of eastern influenced items.
This fine bone china cup is hand decorated and was released in 2006 from Alessi.
