What is your Instagram account name?
Bonjour, our Instagram account name is Le_lasseur.
Can you tell us your country/city?
We are French. I live with my wife and children in Nantes, France. Nantes is a cultural, young and dynamic city near the atlantic ocean.
What inspires you?
For the last 20 years, our passion has been to find furniture or objects for our interior; at the fleamarket, at the “vide greniers”, even in the street!
Name your 3 favourite designers?
I think that my 3 favourite designers are Serge Mouille, Marcel Breuer and Eero Saarinen… I could say Charles and Ray Eames too but everybody loves them!
What is the favourite design piece in your home?
Our favourite piece of design in our home is certainly our very old Florence Knoll sofa, found in Paris in the waiting room of one of my clients. Going back to Nantes with this very long sofa in the car was a real hassle!
What future plans do you have for your place?
My goal is to find beautiful pieces with a history, that are especially strong because our kids love playing soccer in the house!
What’s your favourite room and why?
Our favourite room in the house is the living room because we are a big family, that’s which is why we have a lot of chairs in the house. The living room is central for us, as it’s where everyone meets to talk about their day, do homework, play, eat and drink! It is the heart of our home.
When not making your home beautiful, what are you spending your time doing?
I travel a lot for my job, so when I’m in Nantes with my family, I love staying at home and my madness is to re-arrange the furniture.
